The series is based on an online novel, "SOTUS พี่ว้ากตัวร้ายกับนายปีหนึ่ง" by BitterSweet.[1] During the first 8 episodes, the series ran from August 20, 2016 to October 8, 2016. During the Thai King's Bhumibol Adulyadej passing the series were ordered to stopped for 30 days to mourn. The series final 8 episodes will then be release from November 19, 2016, making its final episode on the January 7, 2017, its initial final date was originally planned to be on December 3, 2016. All episodes air every Saturday on GMM Grammy - GMM One. Repeat episodes aired on Line TV.
